Initialled by Zineb El Adaoui, First President of the Court of Accounts and Hamid Ould Ahmed Taleb, President of the Court of Accounts of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, this agreement aims at strengthening cooperation and coordination between the two institutions.
In a speech delivered on this occasion, El Adaoui highlighted the importance of strengthening cooperation with Mauritania’s Court of Accounts in various areas.
In addition to the strong fraternal relations between the officials of the two institutions, the Court of Accounts receives the members of the Court of Accounts of Mauritania and ensures to offer them field training courses at national and regional levels, she noted.
For El Adaoui, this memorandum of understanding will further consolidate the sharing of experiences in various areas, including the methodology of control and strengthening of professional skills, in addition to promoting the exchange of working tools, rules and methodologies in addition to holding meetings and conducting joint research, conferences, congresses and technical and scientific meetings.
For his part, Ould Ahmed Taleb welcomed, in a statement to the press, the signing of this memorandum of understanding, “which will further strengthen cooperation between the two institutions.”
