French-Moroccan Designer Hicham Lahlou Represents World Design Organization Chief at Saudi Design Festival

Rabat – French-Moroccan international designer Hicham Lahlou is representing the President of the World Design Organization (WDO), as Special Envoy for MENA and Africa, at the 2023 edition of the Saudi Design Festival, organized on January 12-23 in Riyadh.

Lahlou is invited by the French Embassy in Saudi Arabia and by the Saudi Design Festival, the largest event dedicated to design in the kingdom where the needs in this field are constantly expanding under the impetus of the ” 2030 Vision”, the French-Moroccan designer said in a statement.

Supported by the Architecture and Design Commission under the Saudi Ministry of Culture, member of the World Design Weeks and the World Design Organization, the Saudi Design Festival offers a unique platform for exchange and meetings for professionals and the general public, said the statement, adding that several international, local and Middle Eastern personalities are invited.

As Special Envoy of WDO President David Kusuma, Lahlou attended the official opening of the festival alongside the French Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ludovic Pouille, and the Director of the CY Design School in Paris, Dominique Sciamma, the same source said.
