World Handball Championship (Sweden/Poland 2023): Morocco Loses to USA (27-28)

Jönköping – The Moroccan handball team lost to its American counterpart with a score of 27-28, Friday at Kinnarps Arena in Jönköping, Sweden, during the first day (group G) of the World Championship 2023, co-hosted by Sweden and Poland.

The next game of the national team will be against the Egyptian squad on Sunday at 6 p.m. Morocco will then face Croatia on January 17 at 8:30 p.m.

Morocco has been absent from the World Championship for six editions, since 2007, before qualifying for the Egypt-2021 edition which was held in the context of the spread of the coronavirus.
