OIC Chief Commends Morocco’s Support for Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency

Jeddah – The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Hissein Brahim Taha, commended the role of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency, as well as the support provided by the Kingdom of Morocco to the Agency to enable it to carry out its mission.

Hissein Brahim Taha had in this sense Tuesday a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates Nasser Bourita, focused, among other things, on bilateral relations between the Organization and Morocco.

Hissein and Bourita also discussed the preparations underway for the holding of the 49th session of the Council of Foreign Ministers, scheduled for March 16-17 in Nouakchott in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, said the same source, adding that the two officials examined the main issues on the agenda of the 49th session, including Afghanistan, the phenomenon of Islamophobia, the Sahel region and Lake Chad.
