Club World Cup (2nd Round): Wydad of Casablanca Leave Competition after Defeat against Al-Hilal

Rabat – Wydad of Casablanca has been eliminated from the Club World Cup after losing to Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia in a penalty shootout with a score of 5 goals to 3 (1-1), Saturday at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat.

Ayoub El Amloud opened the score for WAC in the 52nd minute, before Mohamed Kenno equalized for Al-Hilal on penalty (90th+3).

After extra time ended in a draw, the two teams went to a penalty shootout that turned in favor of Al-Hilal.

In the semi-final, Al-Hilal will cross swords with the Brazilians of CR Flamengo, Tuesday at the Grand Stadium of Tangier.
