Club World Cup (Morocco-2022): Al-Hilal Qualifies for Final after Beating CR Flamengo (3-2)

Tangier – The Saudi club Al-Hilal has qualified for the final of the Club World Cup, after beating the Brazilians of CR Flamengo with the score of 3 goals to 2, Tuesday at the Grand Stadium of Tangier.

Salem Al-Dawsari opened the scoring for Al-Hilal by converting a penalty kick into a goal in the 4th minute, before Pedro equalized in the 20th minute. Al-Dawsari extended the lead with a double from the penalty spot (45th+9). His teammate Luciano Vietto sealed the match in the 70th minute with a third goal for the Saudis.

CR Flamengo reduced the gap with a second goal by Pedro (90th+1).

Al-Hilal will face in the final the winner of the second semi-final between the Egyptian club Al Ahly and Real Madrid on Wednesday at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat.
