This tournament will see the participation of Mohammed VI Football Academy and Fath Union Sport from Morocco, PSV Eindhoven and Feyenoord Rotterdam from the Netherlands, Real Madrid and Real Sociedad from Spain, Olympique Marseille, Olympique Lyonnais and Racing Club Strasbourg from France, Académie Génération Foot from Senegal, Royal Sporting Club Anderlecht from Belgium and Rangers FC from Scotland.
The tournament will be played in four groups of three teams each, with the top two teams advancing to the quarterfinals.
The creation of the Mohammed VI Football Academy, for an investment of about 140 million dirhams, is an expression of the High Solicitude that His Majesty King Mohammed VI attaches to the issue of sports in general, and the development of football in particular.
Covering an area of about 18 hectares, the Mohammed VI Football Academy aims to contribute to selecting and training high-level footballers, through an educational system combining sport and studies.
