This meeting, which took place recently in San Salvador, was an opportunity to review the development of cooperation between the two countries, especially in the agricultural field, and to emphasize the common desire to promote bilateral cooperation in this sector, says the diplomatic representation of the Kingdom in the Central American country.
On this occasion, the Salvadoran official expressed his satisfaction with the development of relations between the two countries, especially in the diplomatic and political fields since the arrival in power of president Nayib Bukele in 2019.
The Salvadoran minister stressed that the two countries are called upon to build an economic and commercial partnership in view of the promising prospects of cooperation offered by both sides, expressing in this regard the willingness of his country to benefit from the experience of Morocco in planting palm trees and also to share its expertise with the Kingdom in the cultivation of cocoa.
The Embassy of the Kingdom also stressed the strong desire of this Central American country to benefit from the Moroccan experience in the field of marine fisheries, including artisanal and industrial fishing.
A high-level delegation led by the Salvadoran vice president, Felix Ulloa, took part in the sixth edition of the “Halieutis” Fair in Agadir and held on this occasion several meetings with Moroccan officials.
