“Cultural diversity represents a necessary challenge since the founding of the modern Moroccan state as evidenced by its permanent evocation in all legislation,” he stressed in a speech read on his behalf by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication-Department of Communication, Abdelillah Afifi, during the fourth session of the 7th edition of the International Parliamentary Forum on Social Justice organized by the House of Councillors under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
While noting that the knowledge society is the foundation of all other components of a prosperous state, he said that the Kingdom, under the enlightened leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, has made cultural diversity an irreversible choice as enshrined in the 2011 Constitution and also through the promotion of all forms of linguistic and cultural expression and their inclusion in development plans.
He also recalled the achievements made by Morocco in the field of linguistic and cultural heritage, highlighting openness momentum that characterizes the Moroccan culture.
