Sentenced to death in the case known as “Chamharouch cell”, the prisoner committed suicide by hanging using a piece of fabric extracted from his clothes, which he attached to the window of his cell, said the administration of the Oujda local prison in a statement.
The competent prosecutor’s office and the family of the detainee have been informed, in accordance with the provisions of the law on the organization of prisons, concluded the statement.
