Flag Carrier Cancels Flights on March 7-8 from, to Paris amid Strike in France

Rabat – Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has announced the cancellation of some flights to and from Paris on March 7th and 8th, due to the announcement of the civil service strike in France.

“Following the pre-announcement of the civil service strike in France on March 7 and 8, 2023, sent by the French DGAC unions, all airlines have been asked to reduce their flight schedules for these days at Paris Orly airport,” the national airline said on its website.

The flights affected are AT760, AT761, AT740, AT776, AT777, AT664 and AT665 on March 7 and AT640, AT641, AT652, AT653, AT665, AT664, AT650 and AT651 on March 8, according to the same source.

To limit the impact of these cancellations, Royal Air Maroc is assisting its customers by transferring them to other flights. Customers with contact details in their reservation file will receive emails and SMS confirming the rescheduling of their flight.

The national carrier also invites passengers to check the status of their flight and to verify and update their contact details in the “manage my booking” section of RAM’s website: https://www.royalairmaroc.com/ma-fr/gerer-ma-reservation.

In addition, for all Royal Air Maroc ticket holders on the above-mentioned flights who do not wish to travel on the above-mentioned flights, the national carrier will grant them a refund of their ticket, using the original means of payment, or a free rebooking, subject to availability, to and from the same destination or a RAM network destination in Europe, for a new date of travel within 15 days of the date of the canceled flight, provided that the original length of stay is respected.

The Moroccan flag carrier notes that any difference in fees for a change of destination will be the responsibility of the passenger.

RAM invites passengers whose flights have been canceled or who have not received a confirmed rebooking, not to present themselves at the airport and to contact their original point of sale or the RAM Call Center to confirm their rebooking or to benefit from the above-mentioned provisions.
