Al Hoceima: Illegal Immigration Attempt Thwarted, 29 Candidates Arrested – Security Source

Al Hoceima – Elements of the Al Hoceima regional security have foiled, Tuesday, an illegal immigration attempt and arrested 29 candidates for illegal immigration, including a girl and six minors, said a security source.

This operation was conducted in coordination with the services of the Royal Gendarmerie off the coast of Al Hoceima, added the same source, noting that the accused were arrested in flagrante delicto of an illegal immigration operation by sea.

During this operation, a craft that would have been used in these criminal acts was also seized, according to the same source.

The defendants were subjected to judicial investigation conducted under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office, while research and investigations are continuing for the arrest of possible accomplices in this criminal activity.
