This event brings together more than 3,000 participants and 1,500 companies from 45 different countries and as was already the case in the previous edition of AEROMART, Morocco is the only African country represented, which highlights the success of the country in a landscape usually dominated by North American and European players, said AMDIE in a statement.
The Moroccan delegation is led by the Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies Mohcine Jazouli, accompanied by the AMDIE Director General Ali Seddiki,the President of the Group of Moroccan Aerospace Industries (GIMAS) Karim Sheikh, and Moroccan companies in the aerospace sector.
The Agency recalls that thanks to the enlightened vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Morocco has established itself as one of the main destinations of the aviation sector worldwide. Today, 142 companies operate in the Moroccan aviation industry, employing nearly 20,000 people and generating an annual turnover of 2 billion dollars.
Quoted in the statement, Jazouli stressed that “AEROMART Montreal is an excellent opportunity to join industry leaders and establish partnerships and agreements on a large scale.
“Today, Morocco is in a strong position to continue to attract customers and investments, as it offers one of the most competitive aerospace industries in the world,” he said.
