A great specialist of African football, Claude Le Roy said he was impressed by the considerable progress made by Moroccan football in recent years.
“There is a permanence in the results on the Moroccan side because 15 years ago Morocco has put in place a program to develop sport in particular football with national technical directors who have really structured this sport in the country. Finally this strategy is proving to be very effective,” said Claude Le Roy in a statement to MAP in Lome, Togo.
The 75-year-old technician, who participated in the African Cup of Nations (CAN) as a coach on 9 occasions (record), believes that the latest positive results achieved by Moroccan football are largely due to the modern sports vision of HM King Mohammed VI.
