Grand Prix Hassan II: Brazilian Demoliner, Italian Vavassori Win Doubles Title

Marrakech – Brazilian Marcelo Demoliner and Italian Andrea Vavassori won, Saturday in Marrakech, the doubles final of the 37th edition of the Grand Prix Hassan II of tennis, a large-scale sporting event placed under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

In a very close match, the duo Demoliner / Vavassori won against the Austrian pair composed of Lucas Miedler and Alexander Erler, in two sets to one: 6-4, 3-6 and 12-10.

Organized by the Royal Moroccan Tennis Federation (FRMT) in coordination with the Royal Tennis Club of Marrakech (RTCMA), the 37th edition of the Grand Prix Hassan II is the only tournament of this level on the African continent.

The competitions of the 37th edition of the Grand Prix Hassan II of Tennis, event of the ATP Tour 250, have seen the participation of tennis players from 21 countries, including twenty among the 100 best tennis players in the world.
