Cost of Social Dialogue Amounts to Nearly MAD 9 Billion (Gov’t Spokesperson)

Rabat – Minister delegate in charge of relations with Parliament, government spokesperson, Mustapha Baitas, said Thursday that the cost of social dialogue amounts to nearly 9 billion dirhams.

This amount of nearly 9 billion dirhams includes all sectors concerned by the social dialogue between the government and social partners and which took place in a framework of respect and responsibility, he noted at the press briefing held after the weekly meeting of the government council, stressing that the Executive considers the trade unions as a major partner in the resolution of issues concerning the working class.

While welcoming the serious involvement of all parties in the social dialogue, he stressed that “the government has honored a large part of its commitments despite the difficult situation” while continuing the social dialogue with the launch of the April round which is held in a framework also marked by responsibility and trust.
