Rabat: Cabo Verde PM Visits National Jewelry Museum

Rabat – Prime Minister of the Republic of Cabo Verde, José Ulisses Correia e Silva, visited, Tuesday, the National Jewelry Museum at the Kasbah des Oudayas in Rabat, in the presence of president of the National Foundation Morocco’s Museums (FMN), Mehdi Qotbi.

This visit is part of the strengthening of cooperation between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Cabo Verde, especially in the field of culture, arts and creativity to give new impetus to relations between the two countries.

On this occasion, Qotbi gave a presentation on the exhibits and their great cultural and historical value to give a complete idea of the geography of Morocco and the cultural specificity of each region of the Kingdom.

FNM president said that culture is a main bridge to build solid relations between countries, praising the vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI for the preservation of national heritage in all its manifestations, in order to preserve the national heritage in all its expressive forms and protect it for the benefit of future generations.

He said that this visit is an opportunity to develop relations between the two countries, especially in the fields of art and creation, as well as to make known the Cape Verdean culture in Morocco.

For his part, the prime Minister of Cabo Verde highlighted the important history of the two countries, calling this visit “an important opportunity that allowed us to know this unique heritage”.
