Minister Bensaïd Meets in Rabat with his Senegalese, Somali Counterparts

Rabat – Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, Mohamed Mehdi Bensaïd, met Tuesday in Rabat with his counterparts of the Republics of Senegal and Somalia.

A statement by the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication said that Bensaïd met with the Senegalese Minister of Youth, Entrepreneurship and Employment, Babe Malick N’Dour, indicating that emphasis was placed during this meeting on the strong relations between Rabat and Dakar, under the leadership of the leaders of the two countries, His Majesty King Mohammed VI and his brother, His Excellency Macky Sall, president of the Republic of Senegal.

The two officials also discussed the strengthening of bilateral cooperation and issues of common interest in the field of youth, said the same source, adding that the two sides agreed to “coordinate within the various regional bodies”.

Bensaïd also met with the Minister of Youth and Sports of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mohamed Bari Mahmoud, to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation, exchange of experiences and the need to strengthen joint action in the field of youth.

During this meeting, Bensaïd expressed the availability of the Kingdom to put its expertise and experience at the service of Somali youth.
