Arab Beach Soccer Championship: Morocco Beats Lebanon 9-5

Jeddah – The Moroccan beach soccer team beat its Lebanese counterpart by 9 goals to 5, in a match held Thursday in Jeddah, as part of the first day of the Arab Beach Soccer Championship.

Morocco’s goals were scored by Souhail Besak, author of a quintuple, Anwar Ferendi (double), Zouhair Jabari and Badr Karshli (one goal each).

The Moroccan team was placed in the first group with Saudi Arabia, Mauritania and Lebanon, while the second group includes Oman, Palestine, Kyrgyzstan and Egypt. The third group is composed of the United Arab Emirates, Libya, Kuwait and Comoros.
