Cement Sales Decrease by 8.46% at End of April

Casablanca – Cement deliveries reached more than 3.96 million tons (Mt) at the end of April, down 8.46% compared to the same period in 2022, according to the Professional Association of Cement Manufacturers (APC).

For the month of April alone, cement deliveries of the APC members reached 716,483 tons, against 902,513 tons for the same period in 2022, a decline of 20.61%, according to data from the APC members, namely Asment Temara, Ciments de l’Atlas, Ciments du Maroc and LafargeHolcim Morocco.

Cumulative cement deliveries to the end of March 2023 had reached more than 3.24 Mt, a decline of 5.26% compared to the same period in 2022.
