Higher Council of Education, Training and Scientific Research Holds Meeting

Rabat – The office of the Higher Council of Education, Training and Scientific Research (CSEFRS) held Wednesday, a meeting devoted to the review of many items on the agenda.

Among the main points discussed at this meeting chaired by Habib El Malki, chairman of the board, is the review of proposals for action plans of standing committees, the program of the board in the context of the activities of the International Exhibition of Publishing and Book (SIEL), the status of preparations for the day of study on school guidance that the Council intends to organize, and programming proposed to prepare and adopt opinions on draft legislation submitted to the board by the government, said the CSEFRS in a statement.

During this meeting, a presentation was made on the coordination of projects of standing committees and working groups, adopting a systemic approach based on harmony, complementarity and convergence of visions between the committees despite their different specializations, in response to the requirements of the societal project citizen and democratic, able to promote the contribution of Morocco to the economy and knowledge society and strengthen its place among emerging countries.

The meeting was also an opportunity to examine the programs of the participation of the CSEFRS in the SIEL and the study day that it intends to organize on educational and vocational guidance and university counseling, and to assess the progress of preparations for these two important events on the organizational, logistical and communication levels.

Regarding the draft legislative texts submitted to the CSEFRS by the government, it was proceeded to the programming of the opinions formulated around the draft decree relating to the school and vocational guidance and the university council, Bill 59-21 relating to the school education and Draft Decree 2-21-448 fixing the applications of the linguistic engineering in the school education, the vocational training and the higher education, for discussion and approval at the time of the General Assembly of the session of July.
