OCP Group Finalizes Acquisition of its 50% Stake in Spanish Company GlobalFeed S.L

Casablanca – OCP Group, world leader in the phosphate products market, and Fertinagro Biotech S.L., a major fertilizers producer in Spain, announced the finalization, on Wednesday, of the acquisition by OCP Group of a 50% stake in the capital of GlobalFeed S.L.

“GlobalFeed is a Spanish company operating in the production and distribution of phosphate products dedicated to animal nutrition. The company offers a wide range of products, including innovative and high value-added solutions dedicated to different animal species,” OCP Group and Fertinagro Biotech S.L. said in a joint statement.

“Through this transaction, we aim to strengthen OCP Group’s position in the animal nutrition sector and to expand our geographical presence. Our objective is to sustainably meet demand and better serve our customers with a diversified, customized and innovative product offering. Together, we plan to increase GlobalFeed’s production capacity to 400,000T by 2027,” said Houda Sebti, Director for Animal Nutrition at OCP Group, quoted in the statement.

“OCP Group is our long-time partner, and together we will ensure that GlobalFeed continues to grow and develop. We are pleased to collaborate again, adding this alliance to a long list of partnerships between the two groups,” commented Javier Martin, CEO of GlobalFeed.
