The Ministry reported that the number of those who have at least received one vaccine dose has reached 24,922,562, while those who received two doses amounted to 23,424,379. Similarly, 6,884,701 people have received three injections of the vaccine and 60,830 have received the booster dose.
The new weekly number of infections brings the total number of contaminations since the first case reported in Morocco on March 02, 2020 to 1,274,553, with a weekly positivity rate of 16.5%.
These new infections were reported in the regions of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (169), Fez-Meknes (72), Grand Casablanca-Settat (49), Souss-Massa (28), Marrakech-Safi (17), Beni Mellal-Khénifra (15), Oriental (07), Draa-Tafilalet (07), Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra (05), Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (02) and Guelmim-Oued Noun (02).
The total number of deaths is still 16,297 (overall case fatality 1.3%), with zero cases recorded in the last week.
Active cases number 499, with four severe or critical cases in total.
