The first suspect was arrested upon his arrival at the Bab Sebta border crossing aboard a light car, said a security source, adding that the searches carried out led to the seizure of more than 11,000 psychotropic tablets and a sum of money probably originating from this criminal activity.
The investigation, carried out in close coordination with the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance (DGST), led to the identification of two individuals suspected of being the suppliers of this narcotic shipment, said the same source, adding that they were arrested on board a commercial vehicle near the same border crossing.
