Judicial Police Central Director Hails Cooperation between DGSN, Public Prosecutor’s Office, Judiciary

Fez – The Central Director of the Judicial Police, Mohamed Dkhissi welcomed, Wednesday in Fez, the close cooperation between the Directorate General of National Security (DGSN), the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the judiciary.

In his speech at the opening of training sessions for the benefit of judicial officials and those of the judicial police, Dkhissi stressed that the level of coordination and cooperation of the activities of the judicial police and criminal investigation procedures, conducted by the services and units of the National Security operating on different organizational levels and areas of intervention, shows that the initiatives and exchanges between the authorities of the prosecution and services of the National Security, responsible for the judicial police, are no longer limited to the organization of occasional meetings, whether at national, regional or sectoral, but go beyond to include the monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of this cooperation and the objectives set by both parties.

He mentioned in this regard that the DGSN has given instructions for the implementation of the recommendations of the high-level coordination meeting held at the Higher Institute of the Magistracy on June 11, 2021 between judicial officials and their counterparts of the DGSN, aimed at launching a dynamic institutional cooperation to improve the performance of security services responsible for the missions of the judicial police.

Similarly, the DGSN has charged the central administrations concerned with the Judicial Police and public security to develop an action plan to monitor the implementation of these recommendations and to develop periodic reports as part of the action plan of the DGSN to fight crime for the period 2022-2026, said the security official, adding that the general guidelines to this effect have focused on taking organizational and managerial measures to improve the performance of the services of the National Security responsible for the missions of the Judicial Police, including security districts and services of traffic accidents, improving the written procedures and conducting investigations professionally and in accordance with the law.
