DGSN Denies Comments in Video Claiming that Little Girl Was Assaulted by Woman in Morocco

Rabat – The General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) categorically denied, on Thursday, the veracity of comments accompanying a video that went viral on cell phones, showing a woman exposing a little girl to violence, with a comment claiming that these incidents took place in Morocco.

In a clarification, the DGSN categorically denied the veracity of these comments, claiming that the incident had taken place in Morocco and asking for help in identifying the woman in question.

To clarify matters for the national public and refute these false allegations, the DGSN affirmed that investigations and technical inquiries into the video have shown that the incident was filmed in a Central American country, where it was widely reported in the media, particularly after the suspect was arrested by police in May.

The DGSN is committed to to dispel false comments circulating in this regard, and reiterates its determination to monitor and control all violent content that undermines citizens’ sense of security.
