Foreign Exchange Market (June 1-7): Morocco’s Dirham Appreciates against US Dollar

Rabat – Morocco’s dirham appreciated by 0.14% against the US dollar and depreciated by 0.24% against the euro, during the week of June 1 to 7, according to the central bank.

During this period, no auctions were carried out on the foreign exchange market, said Bank Al-Maghrib (BAM) in its recent weekly indicators bulletin.

As of June 2, 2023, official reserve assets stood at 355.3 billion dirhams, up 0.2% week-on-week and 9.6% year-on-year, the same source reported.
