CAF Champions League (Second Leg Final): Egypt’s Al-Ahly Win Title after 1-1 Draw with Morocco’s WAC

Casablanca – Egypt’s Al-Ahly of Cairo, winners of the first leg by 2 goals to 1, won the CAF Champions League after drawing (1-1) with defending champions Wydad of Casablanca in the second leg of Sunday’s final at the Mohammed V Sports Complex.

The Reds opened the scoring in the 28th minute through Yahya Attiat Allah, while the Egyptians equalized through Mohamed Abdelmoumen (78th).

This was the third Champions League final meeting between WAC and Al-Ahly, following the 2017 and 2022 editions.
