Riyadh: Morocco Participates in Second Ministerial Meeting of Arab and Pacific Island Countries

Riyadh – Morocco is taking part in the second ministerial meeting of Arab and Pacific Island countries, which kicked off on Monday in Riyadh.

The Kingdom participates in this ministerial meeting with a delegation led by Farah Bouqartacha, secretary general of the Sustainable Development Sector at the Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development, and including Morocco’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Mustapha Mansouri, and ambassador Abdelkader El Ansari, director of Asian Affairs and Oceania at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates.

The opening ceremony of the conference, which is being held behind closed doors, was presided over by the Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, and the secretary general of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit.

The meeting will discuss the development of partnerships and cooperation serving both parties, strengthening of communication and dialogue, and intensification of consultation and coordination on international and regional issues of common interest.
